Confession
Our Sunday morning worship liturgy lately has included reading extensive portions from the Psalms, especially in relation to confession of sin. One thing that has started to stick out to me is how different the confessions of sin that David makes are from the confessions that I make.
Christians and Politics
Let me start out by saying that this article will make no attempt to provide an overarching "theology of politics," or anything of that nature. The purpose, rather, is to explore some of the confusing aspects of politics as they relate to Christians. I intend to deal with some of these objections here.I must preface this by noting that this is mostly not of my creating. We have been discussing alcohol in Sunday School, and this list of objections, and many of the responses, came from that, although I’ve taken the liberty to phrase them as I wish.
