Becoming a Pen Geek
I mentioned before that I am working on writing more in terms of actually putting pen to paper. At the time, I was using Pilot V-Ball pens, which use liquid ink and have a very fine point. They seem to write more smoothly and with a better result than the Pilot G2 Gel pens that are so popular these days, and that I had been using, although I’m sure it depends on the paper.
Shaving Revisited
I was beginning to think I would never get my new shaving technique down quite right. Lately, though, things have been shaping up nicely in that regard. I’ve given up on the two pass method for the most part because it seems to be a little too rough on my tender neck. Now that I’m only doing one pass, I don’t seem to have nearly as much trouble with hacking my neck to pieces.
“Resolutions”
I have never been particularly fond of New Year’s resolutions. I find them to be a rather artificial way of attempting to make improvements in your life. As a Christian, I also find that they don’t typically take the gospel and power of Christ into account. The power of the gospel in changing lives really has nothing to do with our resolve (stay tuned for an article that digs more deeply into this topic).

A number of months ago, I had a new front tire put on my motorcycle. Almost immediately I had problems with a slow leak. After re-inflating it one time, the problem seemed to be solved. We chalked it up to a bad seal that seated itself properly during the deflation and inflation process.
