So where did the whole stereotype that conservatives are coldhearted and liberals are compassionate come from?
Smoke Free
Arizona has had a law for awhile that doesn’t allow smoking in most public buildings (or in theory within 50 feet of the entrance, although that doesn’t get enforced at all). I think this does a decent job of protecting people who don’t want to come into contact with cigarette/cigar smoke.
Name Calling
I believe that the Republican party and President Bush have some serious problems they have brought upon themselves, which could very well put the Democrats back in control of Congress this election. Will I vote for any of these Democrats? Probably not, as I find them even scarier than the Republicans currently in power.
Creating controversy where there is none
Yesterday I saw an article on The New York Times website about a Republican TV spot running in Tennessee, and claiming there was this big controversy because it was racist.
