It would seem that adding rum to pretty much any dessert/sweet drink can only make it better (egg nog, coke, etc).<br><br>Btw, like the new site. I wish that dog would stop staring at me...shoo! Fetch!<br><br>Hmm…
Root Beer Rum Float
I discovered a new dessert beverage this weekend. We were at a friend’s house for a soiree in celebration of the birthdays of him and his wife, and we had some pizza and a variety of desserts. The dessert we provide was vanilla ice cream and root beer, so we made some root beer floats.
This particular friend has a wide variety of different types of alcohol, so I got the idea in my head that the root beer float could probably be improved by the adition of one of these many beverages. What my eye fell upon, at last, was by no means one of the more exciting products—Bacardi Select Dark Rum.
I must say that this was an incredible drink–the best root beer float I’ve ever had. I highly recommend it. The recipe is pretty simple. Just create a root beer float like you normally would and add rum to taste. Mmmmmmm…
